6-S Shaking Table

The 6-S shaking table is one of the most widely used gravity separators. Asymmetric reciprocating motion of the inclined deck and a thin film of wash water separate particles by density into concentrate, middlings and tailings, with clearly visible mineral bands that are easy to adjust.

  • Coarse-sand, fine-sand and slime decks available
  • Deck area 0.5–7.6 m², capacity 0.05–1.5 t/h
  • 1.1 kW motor, low water use
Suitable minerals: Cleaning of tin, tungsten, gold, silver, tantalum-niobium, titanium-zirconium, iron, manganese, chrome and other minerals with a density difference.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

Working Principle

Slurry is fed at the upper side of the deck while wash water flows across it. The deck moves forward slowly and returns quickly: heavy minerals travel along the riffles to the concentrate end, while light minerals are washed to the tailings side, forming a fan of mineral bands.
